When: 3rd & 4th August
The workshops were chemistry based around the theme of forensic science. Various powder substances were examined & tested in a range of ways. A session around the DNA of kiwifriut was explored. The session were very hands-on and all involved joined in. A microscope was used to look more closely at at our substances and kiwifruit DNA.

Day Two:
The group split up into smaller groups!

Group One:
Looked at how to take fingerprints.

Group Two:
Used plastercast and took shoe prints.

Group Three:
Looked at ballistics and how explosives work.

Small rockets were made from film canisters.

A summary of each groups findings were recorded on charts.
